Embedded Canvas app client availability

Hello,

i really need to use a canvas app to substite a old html web resource, but i found this sentence in docs:

"The canvas app custom control is only supported for use with the Web client type. Currently, the Phone and Tablet client types aren't supported."

That sentence make everything i've done useless (and quite everithing an ambedded canvas app could do), because the most of the users view Dynamics trough the android or ios app (obviously no one use the microsoft store app), and only the few who stay at office use a pc with a browser and the web client.

But i tested on android device and all works fine, can't test on apple device cause quarantine..

Any suggestions?

Hi Francesco,

When Microsoft says that a feature is nos supported doesn't mean that it doesn't work, it means that if there is any issue for Phone or Tablet we will not provide support to fix the issue because for now, it is not supported. However, this feature could work on Mobile.

To be honest I do not know if it will work in IOS, sorry you need to try.
