Hello,

My problem is that some of the users cannot see there owned/shared records after i move them to a new Business unit, those users have a role (Let's say RoleA )which is a parent/child privilege.

Any clue where i can start the investigations?

Thank you in advance

David

When you move a user to a new Business Unit, the security roles are not connected anymore. Can you confirm this?

Yes , i added the security roles to the users .

because once a user is moved all his security roles are lost.

to make it simple , my user have a simple view on the account entity.

nothing special with the view,it only returns the actif account.

but once i moved the user to another BU,the view is empty.

normally the view should returns the records of the BU to which belongs my user & the records giving to him through his security role?

    Hi David,

is this happening to the records "owned" by the user or to the records "shared" with him? (or is it both?)

    Hi Alex,

    I have two views :

the first is "get actif account,"(i assume this view is returning the records  shared to the user or owned by its bu depending in the access level for the security role),when my user connects he sees no records in that view.

the second"get actif account owned by that user" ,there is no problem with the records,my user can see all the records he owned.

    Thank you,

    David

    Hi David,

for the first view, could you open it in CRM, then click advanced find, then take a screenshot of the conditions there? Wondering what the conditions are.

    Hi David ,

While moving user from one business unit to other it will be good if you assigned those record to another user.

You can see in the advanced for that entity record with condition of selected owner. Seems there is some access level issue with parent child business unit.

    Hope this helps .

    Thanks
