Hi,

I have researched the forum but without any hit to my problem so please bear with me if I open a question what is already answered.

I work for a company which is using NAV 2009 R2 via RTC Clients in Windows Server 2012 terminals. No Classic Client will be used here even if it's possible. There are now two users which getting sometimes following error message (snipped from Server Event Log, unfortunatley in German) since a couple of weeks. We have sometimes NAV updates by our IT Consultants regarding business requirements, but these are mostly smaller updates like extra fields in a page.

Here is the event log snippet

I have research the internet since days after this problem but without any luck, I wasn't able to found any identically error message.

So, maybe someone here in the forum has dealt with a similar problem and can give me a hint to the right direction.

Many thanks in advanced!

Kind regards,

Sven

Are you doing changes while users are working in the system, it could be cause of metadata synchronization. Have you tried restarting the servicces when you get the error.

    Hi Suresh,

what kind of changes do you mean? We have several process what are running perodically, mostly for automatic posting actions. The NAS is already rebooting every two hours because we have recognized some processes stucks once in a time and the solution was to reboot the service. Could it be for some reason necessary to reboot the NAV server service when something was changed in the system to get metadata synchron between clients and server? I'm not very involved in dependencies between NAV server and clients...

    Many thanks.

    Regards
