Dear team, I have developed custom batch jobs in SysOperation Framework. It's worked fine.

Now after discussing with client, they like to schedule it to run specific this jobs between 9PM to 11PM only every day except SUNDAY only.

The two things needs to done.

1. The batch job output should be saved in particular path to access it.
Kindly advise me the best option.

2. Needs to skip this batch on SUNDAY only.

Kindly elaborate pls.

Thanjs in advance.

    Hi,

Is this report having option to define the destination while running the report? and is it cloud version or on-premise?

Once you run the report in batch, it runs and save in report archive. And if you want to define the path, by standard it supports to give path of SharePoint not the local path.

Regarding the batch job between 9 to 11 PM, what will be the frequency of this in terms of minutes, hours? Please clarify, will try to suggest accordingly.

    Regards,
    Neeraj

    Hi,

    1) please refer this article to set up SharePoint path in document management.

In case of further query related to this, please let us know.

    2) You need to set 2 jobs by selecting week as parameter and start time 9 PM in one batch, and 10 PM in second batch. And you will have option to select days from Monday to Saturday. It will serve your purpose.

    Regards,
    Neeraj Kumar

    Hi,
You need to create a document type with type SharePoint as storage, define the SharePoint path and while setting the batch job for report, define the destination with archive and select the document type which you have created.

It will save the file in SharePoint..

As I mentioned in my reply earlier, if you don't define any such document type, but default it saves in Report Archive form available in organization administration.. Since it is cloud version, it will not allow to save in local directory path.

    Regards,
    Neeraj

    I have few queries...

    1. Instead of creating document type and sharepoint, shall I go for Organization administration setup to achieve this?

    2. Kindly let me know , in the Organisation administration, where I need to do the setup.
    Give me the reference please.

3.if I do this, is it work for specific report only? Or all the reports...

    Kindly elaborate pls.

    Hi,

Report archive is common for all kinds of report so not specific to one report, whenever you run any SSRS report in batch, it goes and save in that page.
