You can obviously use security roles to restrict access rights. Its altogether too generic a statement to give any useful suggestion.

What role(s) does the user have? Why do those roles give such access if not needed? What access do they need? Is this for just a single user of for groups of users and do they all need the same combination of access restrictions? Consider also reports, inquiries,  and what can be viewed by Finance users in the  Finance screens

The answers should make the necessary action self-evident.

    Hi magic1949,

    Thanks for your response.

Requirement:  users must see their company data and menu, but the data and menus of "Formula" and "Cost" must be hidden.

There are set of Users in this process. I want to create one role which hides Formula and Cost in AX 2012 R3.

Where to find the Formula and cost in AX 2012 R3?

For most user roles isn't that already the case e.g HR don't generally see BOMs and costs.

Have you looked at the out of the box roles to see what rights they have?

If you want to create a custom role then what functions will it have across different users?:

There must be some users who need to see formulas and costs?

www.gofastpath.com/ax-2012-security-matrix is useful for free resource- their paid solution will make life easier.
