Hi All,
I noticed that the Customer Statement report have an option to select any company in the record to include option. I was trying to add into my customized report, does anyone know how can I enable this function in customized SSRS report?
Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.
Regards,Teh
Hi YA TEH,
This company range will be shown if the query used in the report has cross company property set to "Yes".
Thanks,
Girish S.
Hi Girish,
My custom report is using temp table and in my dp I already set the allowcrosscompany to true, but still no luck.
Thanks.
Regards,
Teh
Are you using static AOT query for the report?
If yes you need to set the Allow cross company property of the static query to "Yes".
No, I'm not using statis AOT query.
I'm using X++ code to create the query, also set the query.allowcrosscompany(true), but still the same.
Filter screen you mentioned on the post will show only if the static query is used in the report data provider class.
Refer to standard report "CustAccountStatementExt".
They will be using the "CustAccountStatementExtBaseData" query on the data provider class.
So the "CustAccountStatementExtBaseData" will have allow cross company query set to yes. If it is Yes then you will be able to see the company range filters.
I managed make it work now. I didn't noticed previously my colleague has using a query in the custom report. After I changed the query to allow cross company and recompile the project, now I can see the Company Range tab appear.
