So just to be clear when I am looking at an employee's Detailed Advice Slip I see the following
On the Modified Report under the paycodes I see a single code for
Hourly Wages - Units 100 Current - 1800.00
Overtime - Units 25.42 Current - 686.34
Then when I look at the non-modified advice slip I see
Hourly Wages - Units 100 Current - 1800.00
OT - Units 5
OT - Units 25.42
I believe that the issue we are experiencing here is that the two OT Codes are consolidating and presenting as a single line. The Hours are not SUMing up however the extended math for the DOLLARS is correct.
So the presentation is wrong, but the calculation and the pay amounts are correct.
So, all fields on the Paystub - and yes it is modified - use the SUM function for all DOLLAR and HOUR fields. This works for the Dollars but not the Hours.
I would be very interested to know anyone else that is having a simimlar experience with Canadian Payroll and Report Writer. I would settle for Report Writer response and then a similar situation.
