How to display "a Custom Maintenance Message" when Partner Portal in D365 CRM is put on Maintenance mode

Greetings!

We will be doing a production deployment over the weekend, We would turn CRM and Partner Portal into Maintenance mode over the weekend.

We would like to display a custom message about the deployment and downtime in Partner Portal so that people visiting the url could get that information.

We have tried the option mentioned in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/admin/enable-maintenance-mode

In the custom page URL, we have entered http://mayanksubtest.cf/iframe/

I am still not getting the above custom message displayed. I appreciate any pointers on how to get this right.

Thanks

    Hi,

I have tried to reproduce your issue and when I input the URL you provided into the Custom Page URL, there will be an error message.

And I noticed that the URL in your screenshot in not the URL you provided, so I don't know if you have a misunderstanding about the Custom Page URL setting.

Please refer to the following section about the URL:

    Considerations for custom maintenance page

For example, I set the Custom Page URL for maintenance mode as https://www.bing.com/.

After setting and opening the portal, it will be shown as:

We followed the same steps and it worked when we set the custom page URL as https://www.bing.com

For some reason it was not working for http://mayanksubtest.cf/iframe/index.html

Now I know our approach was correct, it is just that only certain URLs work.

    Thank you
