Can you turn off the screen refresh on a dynamics macro and if you do what happens if the macro errors out while screen refresh if off.

I am using macros to change data in Dynamics GP and would like to speed up the process by turning off the screen update. The issue is that our database is not consistant and I often have the process error out. I don't want to have a macro with an error message I can't see to respond too.
