Hi,

Has anyone ever migrated Post Entity via kingswaysoft or some other tool.  Currently i am migrating it with kingswaysoft and facing below error

[Dynamics CRM Destination [2]] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "KingswaySoft.IntegrationToolkit.DynamicsCrm.CrmServiceException: CRM service call returned an error: An unexpected error occurred.(Error Code: -2147220970, Detail Message: An unexpected error occurred.) (SSIS Integration Toolkit for Microsoft Dynamics 365, v9.0.0.6522 - DtsDebugHost, v13.0.1601.5)System.ServiceModel.FaultException<KingswaySoft.DynamicsCrmServices.Soap2011.OrganizationService.OrganizationServiceFault>

Any help on Migrating Post entity is appreciated.

Thanks,

Sourav

In your SSIS. Have you got Error Output attached to your destination? Maybe the error might be more specific there.

In the CRM Destination component Editor, I have set the Error handling as Fail on Error. For other entities it works. its only Post entity giving the error.

So wanted to confirm if anyone else have migrated post and faced the same issue in past.

I haven't personally migrated posts so I have no previous experience on the issue. But the error message is too generic to debug at this point.

The error output has fields which gives a good indication on whats going on though.

For this particular error, it is an unhandled error on the server side. You would have to turn on CRM trace log to see what actually went wrong.

If you are working with a CRM online instance, you will have to speak with online support team.

I suspect it is a missing value situation. It could be that a required field does not have an input value. But it can be anything else, the only way to find out is CRM trace log.

    Thanks,
