What is Client side scripting and API driven scripting (difference)?
*This post is locked for comments
Hi - I don't quite understand your question - could you elaborate?
Client side scripting, for example JS, that runs in the browser of the connected client for example Internet Explorer or FireFox. This is in my opinion normal out of the box javascript or Jquery. No furhter interaction with functions of Dynamics CRM.
When using the API, functionality of the CRM API is used. This gives you access to data or functions inside Dynamics CRM. This mostly stats with the object Xrm.
Thank you for your help.
Hello,
I wanted to know how to extend dynamics CRM using APIs working with data, services and forms. It involves Event Model, client and server integration, scripting and plugins.
It sounds like the best place to start is with the Dynamics CRM SDK - this is a fantastic resource that gives you detailed information and sample code on all of these areas.

I hope this helps
Thank you, it definitely helps.
