I get questions about the RSO often. I have past experience with it and can explain it, but can never actually "show" how it works or demonstrate common use cases for it.
Has anyone been able to get a trial of the RSO in place? Are there specific contacts at Microsoft that may be able to help?

No need to create a support ticket, as this process is run by sales. Reach out to the local sales people (in Microsoft terms the Dynamics Specialist or Technical Specialist for the account), for SMB customer use the channel organization.
Thanks Akash and Adrian. Have you requested a trial of RSO before? I was hoping to get a contact there, or determine if I need to first initiate the request as a standard support ticket.

As suggested, you can get the RSO Trial instance from your Microsoft representative referring the article docs.microsoft.com/.../rso-get-install
Additionally, You need to have Field service license to get the RSO work, Here are other reference article which ight help in configuring RSO as Trial and overview of RSO
