Can you use Dynamics Online with Azure Stack?
If yes, do you get direct access to the SQL instance where the MSCRM database is, since the Azure Stack server is in your server park?

Hello and thank you for your answer. This is something I am aware of, my question was directed more onto Azure Stack. I don't know if you have heard about it, but it gives you the possibility to use Azure Services and have the data stored in your own sever park, and not on the shared deployment. Not sure if Dynamics Online is supported for Azure Stack deployment.
Agree with Radu.
If you have online instance, you can replicate the dataset to azure db - docs.microsoft.com/.../mt744592(v=crm.8)
Hope this helps.
Hi
CRM Online is offered as a Microsoft SaaS - so you won't have access to the CRM DB as it is hosted in a shared deployment.
On the other hand if you install CRM on a Azure VM you would be hosting the CRM instance yourself and it would be an OnPremise and not Online deployment and hence you would have access to the CRM DB.
These are two different things.
I hope i was able to clarify it.
Regards,
Radu
