Change location profile to be non lp controlled

hi

we have a location that was wrongly setup as an lp controlled Location profile

i have removed the stock from the location using std stock movement in wax, no transactions are open for the location, but when i try to change the location profile i get the message

Location profile cannot be changed to a location profile with a different licence plate tracking status if the location contains stock.


strange as the location definitely has zero stock but when i view on hand stock i can still see trace of the previous license plate in the location but with no physical stock

any ideas ? can the location profile change after it has been transacted on?

    any ideas on this folks?

    we managed to make the location available again after running a month end process

    but if we have to flex pick face up in busy times, i wouldnt want to tell ops they must wait until  the end of the month!

    Hello 

    check InventSum Table with inventDimId and ItemId

    Probably InventSum.Closed field is falsed.

    If you want to change location profile InventSım should be closed for this inventDimId.

    when you try change location profile for wmsLocation Ax does check InventSum 

    if there is a record which InventoryDimension you try to change location and it is not closed yet you get error.

    After running this job you will be able to change your location profile.

    ok apologies but i am not a developer, i see no reference to location in this table

    if the location has no stock, what am i looking for?

    what is Inventdimid referencing?
