Implement HR on Client using Payroll

I have multiple clients who are upgrading from Dynamics GP 2010 to Dynamics GP 2013. For the clients that use Payroll in 2010 I want to add HR during\after the upgrade to GP 2013.

Is there a good document that describes the best way to implement HR for existing customers who use payroll? Since HR is included in GP 2013 and is required for ACA reporting I hope the answer is yes!

Thanks,

David

I think I have the answer to my own question. Use the Reconcile feature in HR Utilities and perform the following:

If adding Human Resources to a previous installation with U.S. Payroll, select

these selections. Other selections are optional.

    • Create Multicompany Organization Tables

    • Create Position and Pay Code Links

    • Update Benefit Setup

    • Update Benefit Enrollment

David, I have just found that this was also what I needed to do for our rollout of HR into a client site running Canadian Payroll.
