Opportunity Conversion Rate Report

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to create an opportunity conversion rate report for any given date range. Specifically, I'd like to create something that shows a percentage of how many opportunities were converted successfully for a changeable time period. I didn't see any canned reports for this so I assume it will have to be custom built. 

I have little experience in Dynamics 365 and my permissions will not be a problem. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for the questions. There are a couple of possibilities that come to mind on building a report that will show the percentage of opportunities which were converted. Here they are:

    1. You could use the Edit in Excel button in the Opportunity List to dump out the opportunities. Then you could filter or otherwise massage the data in Excel, as desired.

    2. You could build a Web Service from the Opportunity List (5123) page and then access that Opportunity data in an external tool and via that Web Service.

    To add to what Tammy said, I suggest using Power BI Desktop / Power BI as your external tool. It will make it easy for you to share this information with others in your organization.
