while I am trying to close the year I found this problem

Total of the transactions in the year is not 0.00.
Total is 7,585,953.25.

This is a serious error. Run \"Check\" on ledger transactions.

I have did search about it so I found someone whos said to follow this

Basic > Periodic > Consistency Check

Run check on General Ledger for Date period

You should get "Journal is OK" message

Then close the fiscal year.

but when I did that I found another error

cannot modify filed DB/CR Requirement on account

Hi,

The second message indicates that there are not transferred subleger entries hanging. Can you check the inquiries section in GL and there the subledger entries not transferred yet form?

Try to transfer all of your pending transactions first and then continue with your consistency check.

Ok. Thanks for the feedback. Can you then try modifying the DB/CR requirement for the accounts mentioned in the error message?

In addition to the highlighted DR/CR requirement field, please check also the validate user/currency fields and everything else that is stated in your error message.

Hi Ahmed Gouider,

On LCS I found the following hint:

Solution 3656289AX2012 R3 - Year End Opening Balance Transfer Issue

If the Delete close-of-year transactions during transfer check box is selected in the General ledger parameters form, opening transactions and system-generated closing transactions that exist for the year to be closed are deleted when the transfer is processed again in the Opening transactions form.

Can you test this instruction in your system?

this is the GL parameter at the system and I am sorry but I didn't quite catch the rest, could you explain farther?

Hi Ahmed,

Can you try deactivating the second parameter 'create closing ...' and run the closing process?

This should resolve the issue.

If it does not, try also to deactivate the first one.
