Batch Number Is Not Appearing In Product Receipt Form

Hi All,

I am facing one issue while posting the product receipt for the registered items(by using item arrival journal).

The batch number is not appearing at the time of posting the product receipt for the registered items.

Is this due to some setup or configuration missed for the tracking dimension? If not what could be the possible reason?

Below is SS for your reference

Thanks,

    Hi Ali,

The Product receipt posting form show values from the PO Line, and if the Batch is not on the PO Line, it's not on the Posting form. I don't know of any configuration that will get it to show.....and how would it handle if you have received multiple Batches on a single PO Line, for example?

Agree with Guy. In addition to that I would like to add another process flow. You can have the case when batch number group assigned to the item with automatic batch number generation at inventory transaction update level. In this case you can skip Item arrival (since it is an optional step) and you can go and post Product receipt without even registration. In this scenario batch number will be invisible on the posting product receipt form as well and batch number will be created after product receipt posting and will be visible only at inventory transaction. Based on you scenario, since you are using Item arrival, try to use Inventory -> Transaction button on the Posting product receipt form.
