Dear Experts,

One of our clients, was wrongly posted sales tax payment with today transaction date instead of month end date.

So, we need to reverse such payment and need to pay with month end date.

    Hi,

    Why is this an issue?

I assume that you make the payment via a bank transfer that you can execute in a banking system/website.

Can't you just schedule the payment to end of April even though it is already posted in AX?

You would have a time difference between the posting in AX and the time the payment was actually made but this would rescue you from making a manual correction in AX.

    Would that be an option?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Thanks Ludwig for your quick response.

This is not the bank payment.  This is system settlement transaction.  I will explain the synario with in detail.

User Run the VAT settlement for December period in April month. But he forgot to update the transaction date ad month end date of December.  So,  system posted the settlement transaction on today's date.

So, now we need to reverse the today's transaction and same should post with December 31st.

If we try to reverse the settlement transaction,  system throughout the error and not able to reverse the transactions. Also user tried to reach run the settlement with Dec 31st, but system throughout the error as the settlement is already done.

    Thanks

    Sekhar

    Hello Sekhar,

I do not know an auto reversal / correction functionality for posted sales tax payments.

If that posting is wrong you would need to do a manual correction.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
