entering details for a New Hire but asking for 'Personnel Action Type'

Hello,

I am new to Dynamics 365 and trying to enter new starter details but for some reason it is asking me for Personnel action type but there isn't anything in the drop down list.

please can someone help

Hi Sinhead,

First, you have to enable Personnel action for New-hire. This can be done via Human resources shared parameters and enable the worker action for Worker

Second, You have to add Personnel action types in Personnel action types forms.
