Integration Manager with Analytical Accounting

Posted on by 1,817

Hello,

I have a client that needs to integrate GL Journal Entries that have Analytical Accounting Dimension Codes. I know that the eConnect Adapter has to be used for this purpose. The information that I need is basically this:

1. I would like to accomplish this with one file that is setup as multiple sources. In my research it looks like that I would need 4 sources for this type of integration. An example file with the Query relationships will be greatly appreciated.

2. I am aware that the next Journal Entry # either has to be included in the file or needs to come in using scripting. (I have reviewed some other postings in this forum that discusses this.) My question related to this is the Source Journal Entry number. This client has many users adn therefore many transactions. What is a best practice to enter this Journal Entry # in a Source File if the scripting is not an option.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated on this issue.

Thanks,

David
