Integration Manager error - he Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered on the local machine.

Receiving this error on one workstation.  Downloaded and installed the 'Report Viewer Redistributable' and the '2010 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components', rebooted the machine and still getting the error.  This is a Win 7 Pro, Office 2010 environment with IM 11.00.1269

This error prevents viewing (or perhaps creation of?) the integration log file.

Anyone else run into this?

    I am receiving this same error when attempting to run the Migration Wizard for Management Reporter to convert my FRx reports to MR.

    Were you able to resolve your error?

    Were you able to resolve this for the Migration Wizard?  I'm getting the same thing:

    the 'microsoft.ace.oledb.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine

    Yes, we found the MR Implementation to be extremely complex.  

    I am not sure exactly what step resolved this.  I believe it was because the MR database and the software must be installed on the same server that GP is installed.  Then you have to ensure the correct permissions are granted to the OLEDB. After three IT people tried to install per the instructions, we got a GP Consultant that is very familiar with the product to resolve all issues within minutes.

    If used a "few" fixes that were published which did not work for us.  Hopefully it is a simple published fix for your install.

    Got it - Struggled with Management Reporter 2012 Wizard to Convert FRx.  My problem started with 32bit Office on the Server.

    Get MAD Engine 64 bit

    Download - Save because it will not run.  Instead, run it with the attribute \passive from the command prompt.

    AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe \passive

    So I tried this and not until I uninstalled Office Pro 2013 (32bit) did that work for me.

    That caused a number of issues for our client that used the Terminal Server for remote access to read and work on weekend.

    But all is wel.  Seems Office is not so fussy and allows a 64Bit MACE to be installed while still installing the 32 bit Office.
