Upon migrating data from GP to Business Central, is it possible to migrate the inventory items' attachments (i.e., PDFs)?

    Hi, As far as I know, this cannot be done in the standard. However, it can be done through customization.

    Hello John,
     
    No, not automatically. The standard GP → Business Central migration tools do not migrate attachments (PDFs, docs) for inventory items. Item attachments in BC are stored as Document Attachments / Record Links, and GP attachments aren’t mapped or brought over by Microsoft’s migration framework. If you need them, the usual options are manual re-attachment, CSV + API/AL customization, or a third-party migration tool that explicitly supports attachments.
