Integration Manager for GP 2013 R2

Hello:

Back in January, we upgraded from GP 2010 to GP 2013 R2 (12.00.1920).  We, also, upgraded Integration Manager to 12.00.1753.

Ever since the upgrade, an end user has complained that Integration Manager is importing extremely slowly.  It is taking twelve hours to import data for a Sales Order Processing invoice integration versus the two to three hours prior to the upgrade.

He says that Integration Manager has an issue, now, with integrating documents with a large number of line items. It seems that it gets "stuck", on them.  Once they are processed, smaller documents flow through fine.

Is there a fix, to eliminate this slowness in Integration Manager?

Thanks!

John

Ribbon Bar impact on Integration Manager.  You cannot run IM with the Action Pane Ribbon Bar.

We tested our integration with the window display set to Action Pane and it throws errors.

In our experience, you need to set Window display to Menu Bar to run integrations with IM.   That is because Integration Manager is like a macro and the macro was not updated to use the Action pane Ribbon.

If speed is your issue, I would rewrite with SOP IM Econnect option

    Hi Mike:

Someone online has suggested that the following might be the cause.  Do you concur?

John, We have faced similar issues.  We tried many options available on the web.

In the end, we loaded the Integration Manager Econnect adapters and rewrote the integration to work with those SOP nodes for eConnect.

That drastically reduced the amount of time it takes to import via integration manager.
