    Hi,

The error message "No certificate found for id 'sealedBid.ifxencryption.operations.dynamics.com'" during the creation of a sealed bid RFQ in Dynamics 365 indicates that the system is unable to locate or validate the encryption certificate required for sealed bid functionality.

    Recommended Steps to Resolve

    1. Verify Certificate Registration:

      • Ensure that the certificate is correctly uploaded and registered in Azure Key Vault.

      • The certificate must be in Base64 format and include both the public and private keys.

    2. Check Key Vault URI and Permissions:

      • Confirm that the Key Vault URI in the system parameters matches the actual URI of your Azure Key Vault.

      • Verify that Dynamics 365 has access permissions (via managed identity or app registration) to read certificates from the Key Vault.

    3. Certificate Naming:

      • The certificate name in Key Vault must exactly match the expected ID:

       sealedBid.ifxencryption.operations.dynamics.com

      • Any mismatch in naming will cause the system to fail to locate the certificate.

    4. Enable Sealed Bid Feature:

      • In Procurement and sourcing parameters, ensure that the sealed bid feature is enabled and correctly configured.

    5. Restart Batch Jobs or Clear Cache:

      • After updating the certificate settings, restart relevant batch jobs or clear the system cache to ensure the changes take effect.

    6.

If the issue persists, consider checking the event logs or raising a support ticket with Microsoft to validate the certificate setup.

    Thanks and best regards,

    Daniele
