We are attempting to use B.C. to run our business, and one area we see as being a major shortcoming is shipments. We regularly ship a single project to 100's of different addresses. It looks like B.C. only handles one ship-to address.
if you want to add multiple shipping addresses for one customer then you can do that on the Sales Order on the Shipping and Billing tab, field Ship-to, choose Alternate Ship. Addr. and on the next page you can add all shipping addresses for chosen customer. But, it is for processing one shipment per shipping.
If you want to process all 100 shipments at once then you will probably need to use configuration packages on the Sales Header and the Sales Lines tables for creating all 100 documents. Then you can use Post Batch action for automatic shipping of all documents.
I don't know for any automated process for this case.
