Hi ,

We are unable to send email to the unregistered customers.

While sending, we are getting below error message

"The Requested record was not found or you do not have sufficient permission to view it".

We are getting this issue randomly, like, it is not giving any error for first three such emails in a day, but from fourth email onwards we are getting this error.

Please help us to resolve this issue.

Thank You.

I am not sure what version of CRM 2016 you are on, but the error that you are experiencing might not be related to sending emails to unregistered customers.

I have seen this error in multiple places in both CRM 2016 and 365, and it might have been addresses in 8.2.1, but am not certain.

I recommend you open a ticket with Microsoft for this particular case and see if there is a patch that resolved this issue, or just raise awareness that the issue exists.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Guillaume Domont,

    Thanks for the Reply ,

We can send emails to unregistered email ids (email ids not belongs to Accounts,Contacts,Leads and Users).

I am sure that first three emails which i am sending are not registered in CRM.

    Hi,

Are you sure that all the emails that you send does not have a account, contact, lead attach to it. Each time you enter an email address in the email entity, CRM will try to fetch the corresponding contact, account, lead and if it does not exist or you don't have permission to see the corresponding email. You will get this error message.
