Dynamics GP 10 and BizTalk 2004

We are upgrading from GP 8 (using SQL 2000) to GP 10 (using SQL 2008), but we have several integrations using BizTalk 2004 integrating into the SQL 2000 database with eConnect 8.0 adapters.  Are there any SQL 08 and GP 10 eConnect adapters for BizTalk 2004?

 Thanks!

Yes, in the Biztalk console add the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004. If you get error messages about not being able to obtain the service organisation, you need to add the schemas into Biztalk from eConnect\XML Schemas\Incoming XSD Individual Schemas...and select the schema you need. (Open your Biztalk project - click on Add and then Add existing item).

There is also a hotfix for eConnect for GP V10 which you should download and install. This resolves other issues with creating the adapters. Available at:

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, Ian, but that link appears to be invalid.  Do you have a new one?

Please disregard that last reply.  I found it through customersource.  Thanks again.

    Hi Jon,

I was away for a week vacation so I missed your post. Let me know if you get it resolved.

    Best regards

     Ian,

I have been bogged down with other projects and had to put this on hold for a while.  But now I'm back into it!  I added the eConnect 10 schemas to my existing orchestrations in BT04 and found they worked perfectly with GP 8 without any other changes.  However, when I tried to have it connect to the new GP10 database it gave me errors saying items weren't supplied to some of the expected nodes in the xml message.  Based on the schemas, it looks as though the items I'm not currently using in the messages are optional (presumably for backwards compatibility), so these errors confuse me a bit.  I am not using any new adapters for BT04 to accomplish this though.  I've installed the hot fix in your first post, but where can I find new eConnect 10 and SQL 08 adapters for BT04 if they exist?  It's a long shot, but I was hoping to try this before having to rewrite the BT orchestrations.
