Dear Community members,
Greeting for the day!
We are facing very very slow posting of invoices in our shops. It should not take more than just few seconds but now a days, it is taking about 5-7 minutes. And since the customer want tax invoice that we get only after posting, we make our customers wait which is not good for our business.
We want this issue to be resolved on urgent basis.
Few things that we have tried already.
1. Server Performance - We checked, the server performance is good and stable.
2. NAV Services restart - We restarted the NAV services.
3. Server Restart - We restarted the sever where NAV app and SQL Server are installed.
I request to community members if you have faced similar issue before, kindly please help us in resolving this.

Hi, You can try the following things.
1. Connect NAV2017 (Cronus Database) without customization on the server, and then test if there is a problem. If the problem goes away, it's probably due to customization.
2. If the standard database is also having issues, try Windows Update, there may be a hotfix.
3. Try to upgrade the CU to the latest version, it may also be a CU bug.

There can be a number of issues causing your performance issue. So giving you any specific advice around this is really impossible without knowing more about your system and your configuration.
I recommend you to contact your Dynamics Partner and have them look into this together with you.
Hi,
Some customization slow your process.
But do one thing, Go to the General ledger Setup and disable the "Adjust cost to G/l Posting"
Then check the performance.
