Hi all. Please assist. my client has this question:

In Value entries Item journal plays off to zero on Positive and negative adjustments but on General ledger entries doubled up not played off against each other please advise how this happened and how to fix this.

In Value entries - do all the entries where "Cost Amount (Actual) <> 0" also has a value in "Cost Posted to G/L" ?
If Cost Posted to G/L is not the same as Cost Amount (Actual) You have to run the process "Post Inventory Cost to G/L"

What kind of transactions does the ledger entries originate from?

To make sure you get the correct cost posted to G/L you might find it useful to read this article.
