ACI Control disabled in form editor of custom entity.

Posted on by 1,196

I have created dynamics 365 online instance. I have created custom entity and on its main form i am trying to insert the ACI Control. But its showing disabled. Some other controls such as Knowledge base search , Navigation link, etc are also disabled.

Anybody .. why they are disabled??

Thanks in advance.

RE: ACI Control disabled in form editor of custom entity.

I attended a training related to Dynamics 365 BI/Analytics features last week and I heard that this ACI Control was active at some point in time right after the v8.2 release became available, but it has since then been disabled. This is probably related to the fact that the Customer Insights preview that this component relies on is not yet fully functional for usage scenarios with Dynamics 365. So, I believe no one can use the ACI Control on entity forms yet, and we just have to wait for Microsoft to further develop this solution.
