Displaying question mark instead of Arabic

Hi,

I connect my Store Operations POS with existing database which contain arabic text(like name of item, store etc). Now when I run Store Operations POS, it's displaying "?" instead of Arabic. Any solution?

    One of my friend gave me the solution of this problem. 

    We have to change the Language for non-Unicode Programs. For this we have to go

    Control panel> Region > Administrative > (In Language for Non- Unicode Programs) Change System Locale..

    then select Arabic Language.
