Import export error Could not find file " 'C:\DMF\{76DCD1F5-FF9D-480C-8208-64865E8017B6}..txt'.

Dear Experts,

while importing the dmf products from import export feature in dynamics ax 2012 getting below error 

Could not find file 'C:\DMF\{76DCD1F5-FF9D-480C-8208-64865E8017B6}..txt'.

any solution is highly appreciated.

    You path contains 2 dots before the extension which is not a correct format. If that is the case indeed, rename the file to be correct.

    there is no file in the folder. its empty

    Hi Jaleel M A,

    You need to use shared folder and specify UNC path instead of "C:\DMF\", this should be done in DMF parameter, "Shared working directory" field. Server where DMF Service is installed should have read access to this folder and AOS should have read and write access.

    ievgen is correct. Do not use a local folder path for the DMF shared working directory, unless you're on a onebox-machine (everything installed on one single box, typically the Contoso-demo onebox).

    Use a shared folder and make sure the AOS Service Account has access to modify files. If your AOS runs under a machine account, you need to grant the machine account proper access.
