hi all ,
I have made one SSRS report , its deloyed successfully .
I have added this report in menuitem , while opening its showing error like this.
"The type 'VarString' is not supported as a return value".

Guys please help me on this issue

Hi Gautam,

Is your report RDP based or query based? Have you created any contract class?

It it is RDP class, try to debug it and then you would be able to find out the cause of the error.

This occurs if you've got str parameter in contract class. Either change str param to an EDT type or implements logics for varString Type by adding a 'Case Types::VarString' in \Classes\SRSReportProviderMetadata\getParamFromDataContract method. 1st option should be the preferred one.
