Collect website email address and then marketing with CRM and Mailchimp?

Hi All,

We are intending to write various articles on our Wordpress website and are hoping to collect email address information for those people that would like further information.

Once we have this information, we are wondering on whether we can put this information into the CRM and then run a marketing campaign from it or perhaps include people on the next website post.

The first program that jumps to mind is 'Mailchimp' and I can see that integration does exist.
Does not need to use Mailchimp but its the first system I thought of.

I wondered if anyone had any experiences in trying to achieve something similar and what you eventually decided to go with and why?

Any help appreciate as this is not my area of expertise at all.

Thanks

    Hi Wayne,

I have not used MailChimp but seems to be a cheaper alternative for ClickDimensions and Dynamics Marketing

These applications are good if you want to have better email template management, more advanced features like sending emails with landing pages to collect information and turn it into leads. Not sure how Mail Chimp handles leads, but ClickDimensions and Dynamics Marketing offer lots of resources to analyze how the recipients react to your emails

Do you just want to send emails or do you pretend to generate leads out of that?

    Hi Wayne!

This could easily be accomplished with a couple solutions.  Using PowerWebForm, you can place a web form on your blog and submissions will feed back into CRM.  You can then build dynamic marketing lists from the web form submission to target readers and send those lists MailChimp emails from your CRM with PowerMailChimp.
