Process to Automate Purchase order, Production order and Sales order

Hello Experts,
 
We are on D365 10.0.33 version.
 
We spent significant amount of hours in doing regression testing of various business process like Purchase order, Production order and Sales order execution...etc during each Microsoft version upgrade to make sure the new version doesn't impact the existing process in production.
 
We believe an external tool is needed to automate the testing. Correct me If there is something within D365 already.
 
What tool is recommended to make this automation work? 
 
Please share your expertise.

    Hi Sarani,
     
    You can use the Regression suite automation tool (RSAT) which is developed and maintained by Microsoft. There might be some use cases for testing which is not possible today with this tool. Microsoft has a roadmap and vision for expanding this tool.
     
    There are some other test automation tools available offered by ISV vendors. One example is Executive Automats.
