    Hi,

Has your project budget been approved or is it still in draft mode?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi,

The approval requires that the budget workflow is setup. If you don't need a formal approval then you can setup the workflow in a way that it automatically approves the created budget amounts.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Jonell,

Have you tested making use of the workflow and has this resolved the Problem or is there still something left open?

    Best regards,

    Hi Jonell Herrera,

Are you currently working in a test Environment or in Live?

    Hi Jonell Herrera,

That's good because you can test the following without affecting your live system.

    Please check the following:

1.) In your project - budget control & forecast tab:

That the parameter 'use budget control' is active

=> If this parameter is active, then the Project Budget balances button should become active

2.) That you project budget is in an approved state.

2.a.) This requires that a workflow is set up

=> If you have a test environment, you should have a sample 'review original budget' workflow available in UMSF company's project module.

2.b.) and that your workflow is running

=> If you are not sure that they are running in your demo environment, open the AOT and identify the 'tutorial_workflowprocessor' form. open it and press start. Once you have done this, you can submit the original budget workflow and wait until your budget is approved. Then you should see the amount in the project budget balance form.

Does this help or do you need some additional/supporting screenshots?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwing!

    I have... some problems...

1.) In your project - budget control & forecast tab:

=> If this parameter is active, then the Project Budget balances button should become active

    I did this topic:

    In the parameteres, too.

2.a.) This requires that a workflow is set up

=> If you have a test environment, you should have a sample 'review original budget' workflow available in UMSF company's project module.

I´m not sure about this but created the workflow and my budget does not require be approved.

2.b.) and that your workflow is running

I did your topic. But anyworkflow was found.

    Hello Jonell Herrera,

    I have three questions:

    1) Do you also have an 'original' project budget workflow set up?

(The one you show in your screenprint is used when an original budget has been approved and is then modified later on).

    2) The very first screenshot that you posted shows that the project budget balance control form is not active in the project list page. If you double click on the individual project and open the control tab, is the button then active?

    3) What AX version do you run (R2/R3) and do you have customizations implemented in the project module?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
