Today we create a lot of balance sheet accounts, which could be avoided by getting a balance by dimension, where we would then create dimensions instead of accounts and then use only one GL account.
If I look into BC, there is the option to det the balance by dimension /GL Balance by Dimension/, but that does not seem to allow much else than a couple of predefined dimensions (global ones).
Am I overlooking something or is it not possible directly in BC?
