Hi, we are in the process of migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007.
We have exchange now setup and working for our day to day use, but are having some trouble configuring the CRM4 Email Router.
The router is able to pick up all emails and add them to the various queues within CRM and track emails recieved correctly, however if we create a new email activity within CRM and send this, then it never sends.
I've switched on the Router trace to see why and the error is as below.
#61042 - An error occurred while processing the outgoing e-mail message with subject "Testing ABC:002302248" for SMTP: http://server1:5555/CompanyName for delivery through HERACLES. System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Failure sending mail. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The Local Security Authority cannot be contacted
HERACLES is our exchange 2007 server, and this has the email router configured. CRM is installed on another server.
The outbound is set to SMTP, Windows Authentication and the user credentials of a user who is an exchange admin.
Spent two days now trying to figure this out with both our network admin and our CRM reseller, but still struggling.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Craig

I have the same question (0)I'd check two things. First, check to see if the service that is running the Email Router has been granted rights to interact with the desktop. Second, check Exhange to see if the CRM server is trusted to relay.
Those are two areas I see commonly come up with the Email Router performance....
