Hi,
There is a legal entity filter on Resource within the Hour Journal.
Does anyone know if there is a way to open up this field to allow adding other resources across other legal entities?
Below is a screenshot of the field i am referring to, as you can see it is currently greyed out:

Thanks for coming back to me.
We have resources that record time against projects which are within other legal entities from their home legal entities. Sometime we have to move time from one project to another and that would be from say UK to US and 2 different LE's. We wanted to use the Hour journal to move this time but the restriction only show resources which are in the Home LE.
Please note currently all our timesheet are going to never ledger, because we don't bill on time.
Please can you advise if there is anything else i can try before going to dev?

Hi Hetal,
Project resources defines for each company and table is company specific.
If you need to use same project resources in hour journal between two companies, you can create a worker as contractor/employment in each company and add Resource scheduling calendar to the worker for each company.
I do not recommend to open the resource field for all companies via customization since it can cause issues in future (e.g. correction).
You can also evaluate to use inter company timesheets by enabling intercompany resource scheduling and timesheets and add required setup.
