Anyone know of a way to setup Inventory to have a method to pull via a bin containing the smallest quantity available?

So say part 123abc has 4 pieces in bin Z10A and 12 pieces in bin A01A, do know of a way GP (or an addon) can be set to send me to Z10A first to fill an order because that bin has the smaller qty?

    Depending on how many bins you have, you could print the bin quantities on the picking ticket and direct your crew to take from the bin with the fewest items. But, I bet you are not using a separate fulfillment method, so that wouldn't work very well.

    Hi Abra,

    Are you wanting the interface to either suggest the bin based on the lowest quantity or automatically assign the bins using this same method?

    If this is the case I don't know of any way to have GP automatically do it however we have a sales order add-on for GP that does this. I'll send you my business card so you can email me if you want to find out more about the solution.
