What kind of Database does MS Dynamics CRM utilize?
OnPremise versions utilize Microsoft SQL Server, online versions are based on Dataverse
Hi,
Dynamics 365 uses the Common Data Service(Now renamed to Dataverse) to store its data - see docs.microsoft.com/.../data-platform-intro
The Common Data Service abstracts the application from how the data is stored. In actual fact, the Common Data Service uses a mixture of Azure SQL, Azure Blob, and zure Data Lake.
For on-premise, it uses SQL Server
