Mapping address information into customer/vendor card through VAT-VIES verification.

Hello everyone !

I have a question about mapping address information into customer/vendor card through VAT-VIES verification. When I create new customer/vendor card, put Country/Region code and VAT Reg. No. into the field (when I have VAT - VIES service enabled) I gain some address information:

And when I accept all, address informations goes to one field ADDRESS, not to ADDRESS, CITY, POSTCODE.. Then I need to edit manually fields.

Is it caused by the structure in which the given VAT - VIES service returns data? Maybe is it a bug? Is it configurable on the system at anyway?

Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

    Maybe this helps.

    Thanks.

Hmm yes I saw this, thank you.

But I always return data from VAT-VIES in this structure:

Do you have any example, when data is sroted in valid fields? Not only in one ADDRESS field?

    Hello,

Yes, I see what you mean as I ran it myself. It is one line of data in address field. If you want us to look into it, please raise it to Microsoft via your partner or CSP.

    Thanks.

Marco, could you instruct me how I can raise this problem to Microsoft via CSP? I can't find any place where I can generate a support request :(

    Hello,

Starting point is partnercenter.microsoft.com . End-users / Businesses using NAV / BC typically cannot raise support request as their partner may have customized standard BC app.

    Thank you.
