Hello, To import General Journal Entries from Excel into Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can follow multiple standard methods. The easiest approach is using the "Edit in Excel" feature, which allows you to open journal entries in Excel, modify the data, and publish changes directly back to Business Central.

For bulk imports, the Configuration Packages method is recommended. You can create a new package, add Table ID 81 (Gen. Journal Line), export the template to Excel, fill in the required data, and then import it back before applying the package.  Alternatively, for quick imports, you can manually copy data from Excel and paste it into the General Journal lines, ensuring formatting consistency.

Using Configuration Packages is the best practice for structured imports, ensuring proper data validation and field mapping.

    1. Import an Excel information and then record it in 'General Journal'
    2. Please find the attached - in my Dynamics 365, I don't see 'Edit in Excel', Please let me know how to add 'Edit in Excel'
