EFT Output Path

GP 2013 R2

Hello, I am having an issue with establishing the output path for EFT files. We recently changed banks and I have setup the previous account checkbook for EFT's but I am running into an issue when trying to setup the new account.

Every time I go to save the output path for the prenotes or domestic payments, it does not save the path, only the name of the file.

Is this an issue with R2? That is the only major change that we have done since the last time I setup EFT on one of our accounts.

@lyn I cannot type directly into the output path, browse is the only option i am aware of

This might be the case, I am not sure. How would I check if my user is able to save folder data or not? Previously I have been able to, but that was before the R2 update.

Is it possible that the user ID you are using to run the computer is not able to get to folder location.  If the user (sa) can run GP it does not always mean that your network login is able to save folder data.

    Let us know.

Did you use the "browse" icon to navigate to the location you wanted, or did you manually type the path you wanted?  Try whichever of these two you did not already try, and see if you are able to save that way.

Maybe also try copying the path from the older checkbook, then paste it into this new checkbook and just edit the pasted-in text to reflect the correct path for this new checkbook.
