How to create more than 10000 Items and Matrix Item in RMS using SQL Server/API

Hello There,

I have more than 10,000 Items , some of the items are Matrix and some are Simple Item. i just wanted to know how i create these items to MS RMS. is RMS has a API or something like that. if not so may i know which table involves for Creating simple and Matrix Items. i will be very appreciate if someone helps me.

RMS has no built-in APIs. I agree with Hassan; there are excellent Import tools from Retail Realm and Davidson-Richards that will accomplish this, and enable you to import new lines of merchandise at any time.

I don't think the RMS DB Schema is available to end users - guys please correct if not so.

I believe there is many importing utilities in the market to import standard/matrix items, I suggest that you try one of them instead of reinventing the wheel specially that you want to consider matrix items as the tables involved in standard items are very limited but it's a bit different when you talk about matrix items coz it involves more tables and you need to understand them very well
