GP2016R2 Sales All-in-One View missing Data

Posted on by

Hello- I have a client on GP2016R2 and uses the Sales All-in-One-View to review open orders/invoices.  In this scenario, we have a filter on to include all Saved & Posted invoices and sales option to see Quotes, Orders, Invoices/Fulfillment Orders, Cash Receipt and Credit/Returns.  I have looked at three customers and compared the All-in-One-View to the Receivables Transaction Inquiry-Customer screen where I included only Work & Open transactions.  In all instances, I was missing data in the All In One View.  Any ideas on why some data would be missing?  Also the data that was missing seemed sporadic meaning for 1 customer they were missing open invoices from 01/23rd had some invoices that were there from that date and some not.  Then everything prior from 01/23rd was not in the All in one View.  For another customer, the data seemed to be missing for all open February transactions. Thanks!

RE: GP2016R2 Sales All-in-One View missing Data

Modifying the stored procedures worked for us.  We tried various numbers (1000, 200, 300, 400, 500) for the results and eventually settled on the TOP 500 (for consistency) for each stored procedure.  Expected results for Quotes began appearing at 300.  Expected results for Invoices began appearing at 400.  I'm thinking the appropriate values would likely vary dependent on conditions in each GP environment  so solutions for each environment may vary.  We're watching the issue and will likely extend to the TOP 1000 if deemed necessary.  (Also we're keeping an eye on the Purchasing All-In-One View result sets...not sure if the same type of issue may exist). Thanks for the help.  Robert

It would have helped if they included a note somewhere on this window indicating that it is not returning all records.

The scripts that you can alter are:

    • rmGetCashReceipts
    • rmGetSalesQuotes
    • rmGetSalesOrders
    • rmGetSaelsInvoices
    • rmGetSalesOtherChrgs
    • rmGetSalesReturns

Hi Donna:  I know this comes late for you, but hoping it can help others.  The Sales All-In-One view contains a "Top 100" in the select statement to help it run faster.  Microsoft suggested using the Paid Removal Transactions to help with this scenario - if you can't use the Paid Transaction Removal regularly then Microsoft suggests altering the scripts that run it to a "Top 500".   I do not have the script, but you may want to contact Microsoft for it.

    Donna,

This isn't any help to you, but I too have been experiencing missing data. Most recently it's been with inventory. I'll order and receive an item and the receipt will not show up. I've seen weirdness like this in at least two of the All In One Views. I'm not really using them anymore because I don't trust their completeness. I haven't had time to do any investigation, but I wanted you to know you aren't alone out there :)

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
