Dev Application is not opening

Hi All,

Dev application is not opening, keep on displaying loading, it is not throwing any errors:

Tried with below options:

1. Restarted batch relates services,

2. Restarted DEV box as well.

Please advice us how we can resolve this issue.

Check out into event logs; you might find something there. I would start with F&O system runtime logs.

Also, please give us some context. Did it work before or it's a new environment that's never worked for you? If it works, are you aware of recent changes, such as DB restore?

Hi Martin,

Didnt find anything in event logs related to Dynamics AX. Application was opening till yesterday , we just modified the one line of code and performed the project build, after this the application is not opening.

Hi Martin,

Application is opening now, we closed all the Visual studio instances opened in the DEV BOX and it worked.

Hi Martin,

Noticed one thing, If Visual studio is opened , then application is not opening, it is in loading state. Once we close the Visual studio then able to open the application.

You may have a problem with IIS Express. With the usual configuration, IIS Express is used when Visual Studio is running and IIS is started instead when you close VS.

Hi @Akbar Pasha,

1- Check the SQL services and try to restart it.

2- Sync Database from VS

3- Try to delete Logs

4- Check if you have space in your dev box
