Purchase Requisition in Project Module

Hi All

Can i create the purchase requisition from the Item Requirement like purchase order. My Scenario is like, i create the project and in that project i want to incurred the cost at the of product receipt so i have to create the "item requirement" and from there i will create the purchase order. Also as per my company policy, all of the purchase order should come from the purchase requisition, so i have to create the purchase requisition instead of purchase order from item requirement.

Please advise me on this, thanks in advance

    Hi Imran,

You should also give a thought if you really need to do this because in projects you have a budget linked to it and when the purchase orders are created from item requirements then it means that the budget it already approved. What benefit your company is getting by creating a purchase requisition instead of creating purchase order form the project.

If it is really required, then you will need to do X++ customization for this. I have not seen any such function or setup through which we can create purchase requisition from projects item requirements using standard AX.

    Hi Imran,

This is not supported by standard AX. As Pryanka says, this would be a customization for the client to create purchase requisitions based on item requirements.

    Kind regards,

    Josip
