I've set up a queue linked to a shared mailbox, with multiple users who can send emails from the shared mailbox queue in CRM, but some of these users are not members of the shared mailbox in Exchange. How is this possible? I assume the email being sent from the queue still has to go through Exchange to be validated!?
If you use a similar procedure, sending an email from a queue automatically replaces the sender with the shared mailbox, at which point the membership is not verified.
But as stated in the link, we can modify the conditions of the workflow to restrict the user whose sender is being changed.
